After the success of the first Coffee Republic abroad, Mark Christie and Andy Kelland - British businessmen from Plymouth, Devon - recently opened their third Coffee Republic in Bulgaria, in the biggest mall in Varna, Mall Varna. Next coming is Sofia – June 2008, Stara Zagora – Arena in October 2008 and Mall of Plovdiv in Mach 2009, and many others to follow.

Coffee Republic opens its first Romanian store

Coffee Republic have opened their very first CR Deli in Romania.
The British cafe chain Coffee Republic, a franchise owned by Krrus Holdings, opened in Baneasa Shopping City its first Romanian cafe bar. This is only a first step from the ambitious plans that Coffee Republic has for Romania.
By 2009 the franchise plans to have up to four more cafes, all spread within Bucharest.
The manager of Coffee Republic Romania, Imran Aziz, explained “the decision to bring Coffee Republic to Romania is due to the fact that the market of the local and international brands of cafes or pubs is still unsaturated”.
